So yeah I'm getting new skis and I'm stuck in a deadlock!
Background Info:
5'11 175lbs.
Looking for a responsive playful ski. I come from a racing background so I want a ski that carves and edges well, for this ski we'll say 50/50 split of park and all mountain... Also 70:30 rail:jump ratio...
Skis I've liked: Chronic, Rossi Storm, El Paco
Skis I HATE: Halo (I currently own these and absolutely hate em! Horrible all mountain and horrible carvers, wierd feeling on rails and take offs, maybe a little bit stiff as well)
THANKS

After Halo's I'm really not that into the radical sidecut/rocker profile that's also on the FR also aren't they relatively stiff?

I have the These, they're super playful, insanely light, and just feel so at home in the park. Although they'll be better at carving than the halo's they're no race ski. The future spins are pretty stiff but they can hold an edge pretty good so you can't always get the best of worlds but the These are pretty damn close.

but they're not durable, which is a necessity if you're going to be skiing the park a lot

not 100% sure if this is true or not but i heard somewhere that moment was having problems with the frankenski wearing down quickly underfoot because of the new tech, so i would probably wait on those until they get a more perfected model out.

Next year they put the edges on it, so it's basically a renamed jib
