Shell snowpants

My current snowpants are these puffy, fleece lined, oakley bastards. They are awesome for Wisconsin in Feb. Not gonna be fun when I head to CO this April. Dont wanna give my mates the ole' stink clam. Can anyone recommend some breathable, waterproof, snowpants that dont have fleece lining? Some thing with crotch zips to keep me coo'

Bonus points if you can sell me some. Wear an XL in Oakley stuff usually, L in Saga. Let me have it!

Saga Anomie? They've got 3 vents (outer side of each leg, one 180 degree zipper around the crotch) and will keep you cool on spring days

yah was acutally looking to pick up a used pair. Only qualm was, if i remember correctly, they had fleece in the hip, butt, groin area. Am i mistaken?

yes, but a square foot of fleece won't make a huge difference, it's just so your skin doesn't chafe

they do have some thin fleece, but its more just so that your skin isnt rubbing against the rougher materials. think of how many people use saga pants year round, including the late spring and summer, do you really think everybody suffers that whole time. you can definitely stay cool in them

If you really want some shell pants you can buy my north faces. Only 8 years old and lost all waterproofing. All fleece is rubbed off of the ass part so you don't have to worry about that

Well one only has extreme shredding, the other one tore last week so that the heel of your boot fits securely in the hole. Discoloration has turned the grey cuffs into a lovely yellowish tan.

I have Arcteryx Beta AR bibs, theyre fantastic. $$$$ though.

Check for a stoic bombshell pant, its good shit and cheap

Flylow or Trew if you want a more freeride fit. Otherwise mountaineering brands like Acrteryx, Noronna, Haglofs, Patagonia.

But shells are only worth it if you tour. Even in May I wear something under mine if I'm just lapping lifts.
