wax new skis

^i didn't know that's what the white crap was....but yea, i don't think yo need to wax them, but it won't hurt. I'd go with swix and a bunch of coats

white crap = base burn = needed to wax a while ago, take care of your shit when you strap your life into them.

'freezer' and 'axle' are both so correct.

Multiple layers with very good brushes and scotch brite pads are key to having very fast easy to control skis. Add a file (I need one bad) and you are set. I think the basic needs are:

1 iron, can be the same one you iron clothes with but you will get wax on your shirts and smell like a ski shop.

1 scraper, sharpen often with creative things

2 brushes 3 is better so one can be dirty as shit, one clean nylon (static but groovy) and one clean horsehair (nonstatic)

2 scotch brite pads = less than one dollar

1 bar of swix, us alpine or other generic all purpose wax for layering and hotwax cleaning.

1 bar of warm very soft wax, I like red yellow is softer.

2 bars different cold waxes for preferences, one form spray or rub on ect.

I think all this can be had for under 40 total. The cost isn't nearly as bad as the time you have to put in. Sometimes I just take them to christy's and let the do there thing while I sit on the couch and smoke.
