College Fest @ Mad River Mountain - Slopestyle & Big Air Competition

This Weekend we have the first ever College Fest at Mad River Mountain, all college students can score $20 Lift tickets and $15 rentals both Friday and Saturday. If you aren't a student well this Friday everyone goes back to school! FACEBOOK FRIDAY DEAL: Say the CODE WORD: "FRESHMAN" at the ticket windows to get the #CollegeFriday deal of $20 lift tickets and $15 rentals for either the All Day or the Extreme Ticket!

Plus they'll be plenty of contests including a Friday Night Rail Jam which includes prizes for Best Trick, this week prizes are Armada Skis and a Never Summer Snowboard, and a roosters wing eating contest in the loft at 9:30pm

Saturday features a Demo Day of next years Gear, Hosted by Aspen Ski and Snowboard shop. All the Midwest Ski Reps will be there showing off there latest and greatest gear.

Saturday March 1st is our Slopestyle competition. This late season competition is Mad River's final freestyle event of the season and features two distinct lines for both the experienced level competitor and the amateur level that will challenge both. With cooperation from Peak Resorts Freestyle Design Team and Mad River Mountain's parks department they put together a slopestyle course featuring both jumps and medium to large rail & box features.

Competitors have two runs to put together their best one in hopes of taking home some cash & prizes from sponsors. A full schedule and prize list will be coming out shortly so please be check back often.

Registration - $10 Fee

Open Practice -12PM - 1:30PM

Mad River Mountain's Big Air Series in 2013 became synonymous with large kickers, big crowds, and big time action. Look for two kickers to be built on the lower Mad River Ski Trail. Making it perfect for viewing from the Loft Deck or the Four Star Express Quad. Need a closer look? It's only steps from the concrete patio.

Sponsors for this year's competitions are still coming in but expect prizes from companies like Dakine, Smith, Oakley, CandyGrind, SkullCandy, and many more. This year we will also be offering up a $1,500 cash purse divided up between the Ski & Snowboard Pro categories.

Lol goepper was the only good thing to come out of perfect north. Of all the local hills Brandywine has by far the highest skill level

I would disagree, the talent level is pretty high right now. I'm not trying to start this debate up again though, so I'll just say that it's sick that the level is high at all the local resorts.

Matt Heffernan is pretty fucking good. Same with Brad Bulzan and Freddy Brideweser. But definitely nobody on Goepper/Laker's level.

For you to say BMBW has no one on Chris or Nick's level is contradictory to this.

By the way, Perfect North riders sweeping Am slopestyle in both ski & board.
