Before I get any crap for asking for help on picking boots, let me just say that I have gone to several boot fitters (including a genius in Big Sky, go to Grizzly Outfitters if you want the master), and almost all of them have recommended the Dalbello Krypton Series boots.
So I am torn between the KR2 Pro and the Lupo SP.
I am mainly a hard charging big mountain/all mountain skier, living on the east coast. I plan on getting more into the park next season. I go out west once a year for a week, but when I do I spend most of my time in the sidecountry, hiking up to lines. Rubber soles and a walk mode were feature that I really wanted in boots, but I am now concerned about the performance that is lost. Another issue is the more upright stance on the Lupo.
Is there anyone who rides the Lupo who can speak to its performance over the KR2 Pro?
