First flip ever learned

Being a thinker I am, I was wondering what everyone did for their first flips. I've heard blackies corks Lincoln's and fronts. Which was your first and which is easiest to do or learn?

Switch rodeo and then backflip shortly after. Still to this day the old backflip is by far the scariest of them all.

only was the first time. Probably just the sensation of going straight back over my head, I couldnt even do them on trampolines or zero gravity flights before snow.

I think cork 3s are sooo easy compared to backflips. Ik technically they arent inverted but Idk fuck it.

My first invert attempts were fronts but it took me a while to land one. I landed a backy first try. Fronts are the least intimidating to do imo but one of the harder inverts, def try and learn backy first

Backflip. I had never done one on tramp or anything before that but they are really easy on skis.

I just switched to skiing from snowboarding a month ago (skied when I was really young) and I really want to try my first flip on skies.

I am stuck on whether to go for a Lincoln or Backflip.  I can do tamedogs and backflips on snowboard  and backrolls on a wakeboard quite easily so both seem plausible.

Just learned my first one this weekend. Just pop a decent amount just as you leave the jump, as you come off the jump imagine trying to touch the back of your head to your calves. Do not set the rotation before you leave the jump, your body should be perpendicular to your skis until your off the ground. It definitely helps to do It on a medium-large jump instead of hucking it off a small one. Hold that position until you're able to spot the landing, then open up your body. I fell 4 times before landing it, 2 of the times I clipped my tips and none of the falls hurt one bit. It's waaay easier than you think

How tucked should i be? super tucked in with my knees pretty much up to my chin or should i even use my hands to tuck or should i let my hands stay loose?

Backies are the easiest, but I learned fronts first because it's less scary. Flats are also easy, and mistys are too and also very not scary. So any of those would be good to learn first if you are comfy on a tramp with any of them.

From what I've heard, a frontie is the least intimidating but a backie is the easiest. However, I also heard that backies are hard on small jumps, and the jumps at my park are really small. Which one should I try first?

I did a frontflip and that's the inky flip I can do, I know I should be able to backflip as I can pretty much double on a trampoline but for me it's just passing that mental barrier to get the first one

I tried a frontflip, landed on my back. Then I tried to frontflip 5 more times, but still ate it every time. So I said screw it and threw a backflip, and I landed it first try.

The first flip I ever did I was sitting on the backs of my skis, I got bucked forward off a bump and ended up doing a front flip. But my first flip in the park was a backflip, then underflip, then rodeo 5.

I cant flat 3 to save my life, it either turns backflip, or it turns into a flare.

Not me, but a guy I know learned lincoln>flat 3>pencil 540, then dropped a perfect double lincoln at the end of the season.

Depends on what you're more comfortable with so you can commit. I learned corks recently and am way too scared to try a backflip on skis.

I started of slow and easy with a triple cork.

Did a frontflip first, but once I learned backflips I said fuck dat noise and just do backflips. Every kid should really learn lincolns both ways as a foundation for rodeos and corks.
