Hey my name is Reilly. I've been skiing for about 7 years and just got into the park a few months ago. I'm about 6'2, 170 lbs, and 15 years old. I'm a type III/level 8 skier and now Im looking for a new pair of twin tip park skis. Right now im skiing on some rossignol all mountain skis that are terrible in the park. I've done my research and talked to guys at my local* shop but I just wanted to ask the freeskiing community for help too. I'm willing to spend maybe $550 on just the skis no bindings. What length should I get the skis in? Whats the best brand in your opinion? Line? Armada? 4FRNT? APO? What type of ski is best for park, rocker or camber? And what are the best bindings? Also looking for something that will last a long time. I'm not a scrub in the park I just have these questions about new skis because I don't want to spend $500 and get the wrong skis or something. thanks.
based upon your height and skier ability, I'd recommend a 185+ cm ski. Check out the ON3P Filthy Rich, it comes in a 186 and the extra money (it's $600) is worth it
I might take them out of the park into the trees or something but ill probably just get a pair of powder skis later on. Starting off with medium size jumps and working up to bigger. All type of park skiing, lots of rails and boxes.
