I was just searching through the forums and it struck me that there were no traces of an official Top Gear thread. Now what the fuck, I say. Therefore, I hereby declare this official Top Gear thread opened. Oh cock. Share your favorite moments, whether it's good or awesome. Or superb. Which we all know it will be.
JenniferGarnerYou care way too much and no one cares that much to follow your posts. BTW nice house. I wouldn't have expected someone as dimwitted as you living in such a spacious crib. You better sleep with a rubber on because I'll be cumming.
Seeing as someone responded to my post informing me where I can watch Top Gear online if it falls off of Netflix, it was worth it to see if someone responded. Thanks though.
*DUMBCAN*Also, those Russians have fucking ridiculous boats. I love Russia.
Hammond eating it on the bike was hilarious. I also have no idea who will actually win the race- I could definitely see the stig coming out of nowhere and winning.

I've only just clocked that it's on now over there...
The end with the stig is hilarious. That's all I'll give away
what the fuck were these boats flying through traffic
Hydrofoils, glorious boats, had their peak in the 60's/70's in Euroland, they're very fast, very stable, Russian build, look dramatic and prohibitively expensive ( at least 3x more then a conventional boat).
Mostly used as ferry's, the ones you still see nowadays are mostly aging models, kept on more for the novelty.

Such as the one at lake Como:
Still in use several places in Europe. I've been to a bunch of greek islands, and I think i've seen one on almost every island.
The Australia episode is fantastic. So funny. I don't wanna give anything away cos you Americans don't see it till tomorrow (I think), but it's certainly worth watching.
.Rybak.Only season 16 -19 is on netflix now. I will murder someone for this.
I guess its ok for me then, my parents havent reset our netflix in 3 months. But thats so fucking stupid considering its one of the most watched shows around the world!
new episode is good. a bit more car related then the past few this season. i never released how small will smiths eyes are. couldn't get over it for the whole interview.

He looked so baked. Also love how they have Chilean flags in every episode of the new season

yeah completely. his laugh seemed so fake and awkward as well. i think the Chilean/Argentina thing is going to run through out the series
Titus69Cant say Im loving the Range Rover part but this episode was still amazing
agree i felt it was more 'can the winch pull the ranger rover up the dam' rather then 'can the range rover drive up the dam' the car did nothing really.

It remained structurally intact with the winch & winch engine aboard, for a car older then Hammond, also mah visuals and scarring Hamster to death.

The engineering part of my brain was enjoying that. It was a little predictable that he'd have to come down, seeing as there was no way you could have driven off from there.
Also, it was good to see a more traditional episode. This one was actually about cars, and it was fantastic. Both the funniest and most interesting of this series so far, mainly because they weren't trying as hard.

Yeah it was good, they were funny as usual and had good descriptions of the cars like the i8 and amg GT which James had me fall in love with
That AMG GT is one of the best looking cars i've ever seen.
The M3 part i was disappointed with. I bet Clarkson thinks the part about not being able to turn off all the electronic stability stuff in sport mode is "utterly stupid", but either his love for bmw made him not make a big deal out of it, or bmw paid for a good review. He has basically ruined cars' reputations for less in earier episodes. Don't get me wrong, i'm a huge fan and i think he is one of the best tv hosts ever, but that part was lame.
Fuck yes, it looks like the trio is about to finalize a deal with Netflix. It's interesting because that was one of the first suggestions when Clarkson, May and Hammond left. Netflix is really holding it down these days. Hammond and May both turned down a 6.1 million dollar bribe to bring them back to the BBC. Good on them. Siked.

Also I'm interested what you think they will do with Netflix. They cant keep going with the same format. They probably get a lot of freedom and do what they want. In the latest series of Top Gear some episodes were more like small specials, will they go more that way or more crazy car tests and stupid challanges with caravans? What do you think? What would you do?
They should make a show testing and bickering about things completely unrelated to cars.
Napkin brands
Mouthwash
Droogs
etc
Just random shit. Def droogs though.
As far as netflix it makes sense because they have all the data and saw how much of a fucking hit that was with all the people watching it on there. IF they didn't already grasp that from the bbc raking in $$$$ for it
