Anyone have the Seth Morrison Full Tilts? My local boot fitter can order them for me for half the price of retail but my major problem is that i have quite wide feet. Anyone with wide feet use these? Any recommendations for boots for people with wide feet? (I know there are already tons of threads on it)
They fit my feet fine for width and length but i have very skinny ankles and shins so I had to get foam added to the exterior of the liner and the cables pulled in all the way.
But as everyone will say get boots that fit your type of feet.
Don't order any boot without trying it on first.
Luckily for you, the Seth shell is the same as all the other 3 piece boots.
So if they have ther full tilt boots, try it on first.
Only thing the Seth will have is metal buckles, stiffer tongue, and an absorbing foot board.
The boot-fitter I went to said I have I have wide feet and he recommended the Seth's over the Konflicts for that reason. I tried both on, didn't notice a difference, and bought the Konflict. They fit great now after breaking them in. So according to that boot-fitter, the Seth's are more accommodating of wider feet.
This is not true. They have the classic old shell which the Drop Kicks and such use. The old shell only has a small replaceable heel strike. Then they have a new shell that they came out with a couple years ago. It has replaceable toe and heel strikes and some other small adjustments to the fit including a wider toe box than the classic shell which tends to narrow slightly at the toe. The Seths also use this design. Both these shells are 99mm last but fit differently from each other. Then they have the booter shell. Its a 102mm last.
