Skiing: A lonely experience

So, I'm an 18 year old from Maine, and picked up park a few years ago, and it's been my passion ever since. In the beginning we had a solid crew of my friends going up every weekend, pushing each other, congratulating one another when we landed tricks, just an all around better time. Now that I'm in college, it seems all of them either turned into a "casual" skier, or doesn't even ski anymore. I find myself with that same passion I did, but no one to ski with. often driving two hours to ski alone, and two hours back. The worst part is landing new tricks, and only being able to celebrate it internally, which really take away from the feeling. I try to connect with other park kids, but never seems to work. I'm just wondering if there are others who have the passion to ski, but no one to enjoy it with. I ski sugarloaf so any fool skis there hit me up if you want to ski

I ski alone 90% of the time and wouldnt have it any other way. None of my friends can keep even half my pace so it just sucks stopping all the time. If im lapping park tho id rather be with friends. Nothings more fun then hitting bowls then skiing at top speed from top to bottom all day

I feel you man. It's also annoying if you want to make an edit or something but you got no buddies to film with. It kinda takes the most fun of skiing out, being stoked with your buddies
