Steve and Kutcher didn't advance to finals (they skied earlier). Pretty sure Torin and Joss aren't even there (just because they're invited doesn't mean they'll go).

FUCK YEAH KARL!!! The most deserved win. I don't think there was a part of the course he didn't hit, never saw him fall or even look sketchy. Dominated.

I'm so surprised that LJ even got on the podium, I didn't see him do anything that stood out. Dom definitely got ripped off there, but congrats on best trick. Karl also killed it all day

I think consistency generally plays a huge role in these types of events. It's hard to really stand out when everyone is throwing down, but when you don't fall and still do big tricks every run the judges notice. That being said, LJ is one of the most consistent rail jam skiers there is, so it's really not that surprising to me that he's up there. It's why LJ wins R2R all the time...the shear number of tricks he throws down and lands is mind-blowing

Dom did good, but wasn't consistent, he fell a couple times...that and I don't think judges really get the point of the caribou on to the rail thing. Scrappy was another one who was throwing down, but just had a few wobbles here and there.

If you look at the podium, they all stayed on their feet the whole time, hit different sections of the course, threw big tricks, and did different tricks every run - and generally 3 tricks per run on top of that. Taking nothing away from the other finalists, but I see no problems with the podium.

Super hyped for LJ! And if anyone had to take the title from him glad it was Karl. He was on one all day. Bummed none of the other boys made finals but the format for the qualifiers didn't seem like it was the best. Oh well. Big thanks to Bear Mountain and Craig Coker for putting together another sick contest despite some challenging weather.

You are almost correct, but my motive was so that my Pops could see me. He was watching the livestream for the sole reason of seeing his swagged out young man posted in cali doin his thing. At one point i went and filmed from a different spot, he called me and told me to go back where i was cause he couldnt see me anymore.
