I'm trying to learn some grabs, but I have a problem. I keep tipping the way that I grab. In other words, I can't seem to balance myself so that I land it. Does anyone have any tips on staying balanced in the air while doing grabs? The specific grab I'm trying to do is a truck driver grab.
get some air awareness. do jumps and spins flips and rolls on a tramp, tape some hot wheels tracks to your feet, and learn what your body does when you move around in the air trying to grab dif places. youll learn that for a truck, you need to stiffy your knees and point your toes up, and bend forward to meet em
As crazy as it sounds, I don't have access to a trampoline. My parents won't let me get them because of insurance costs going up, and the closest trampoline place to here is at least 60 miles away. What's easier, doing grabs, spins, or flips? I could learn spins or flips first if they're easier.
To learn a truck driver, just start by going over the knuckle with a ton of speed and get air and go for the grab, dont use poles at first. That is the easiest way. After you get that down, just straight air it for a while until you get the perfect. Then just add them to your trick.
Unfortunately, my home mountain sucks huge dick, and the most airtime you get on the biggest jump is probably like half a second if even. I'd say the tallest jump is 6 ft and it's extremely flat.
