Let me tell you about my circumstances. I have been riding Rossignol my entire life, and swear by them. I currently ride 2012 Scratches and FKS's. I ride on the east cost and get about 50+ days. From riding park, slaying the powder, or just cruising/bombing a groomer, I'm looking for the one that is good for that. My main priority is park, powder, then groomers. The reason I'm asking which ski to go with is because I've never really ridden such a buttery, playful ski like the slat. Everyone I have spoken with recommend the slat. My coach, a Rossignol rider too, swears that it is the best ski he has ever ridden. The storm is virtually the Scratch with a different name. So, do I make the switch to the slat? I'm willing to go out of my comfort zone, considering I'm fairly young, and I haven't had any exposure to flexure skis. I think it would be a great idea to try something new, because what if something like that is going to make my days on the slope better. Also, if you have ridden either of the skis, please share your thoughts and experiences.
