Let me start off with saying I use to be a bar tender at a resort. The bar opened at 10:30 and on busy days people would be waiting to get drinks. We weren't really allowed to cut people off unless they started to puke, but so many times I wanted to cut people off from drinking. I would watch in horror as people would stand up fall over and walk outside and click in their skis or strap on their snowboards and go up the lift. And more often or not a lot of those people came back down in a sled. So where is the news article on drinking and skiing?

I have no clue why those guys were so fucking horrible at snowboarding. The reporter was just taking advantage of retarded snowboarders, and most likely made people watching the video outraged at people smoking at the mountain

Exactly. If they were an unbiased source looking to actually investigate the effects, they should have gotten two good snowboarders who were completely sober, and followed them for a while. Then they should have smoked and gone out riding again. This 'news' was complete bullshit

First OP, tell the difference between city douches and mountain bums. City douches drink to get drunk, fight and fuck. This is the way they understand life. They are rude, hard to handle and complete assholes to everyone.
Mountain bums drink and get philosophical. We smoke weed and drink to live beside society. Our antics often are supposed to hurt the ego, but make everyone laugh. The ski bum are the ones you make friends with at the end of the night.

I know the difference because the locals never came in the bar it was always the city douches. They are also the people that smoke weed once a year and when they do act like a fucking middle school kid when they smoke and keep saying man I'm so high then giggle like a retard.
It is hard not to hate of those people, but yet those people are needed to keep resorts going because they show up with their friends and toss money around to out do each other.

What's kinda funny is those guys were trolling the reporters sort of. They had actually been drinking all day before they met them at the smoke shack. They said they were deff drunk, and the reporters got tons of actual good footie of them but chose to only use the shots of them eating shit.

the easiest way for media to make news seem important is by fear-mongering. in this case they've taken probably one of the most harmless and innocent (even legal in the case of CO) things you could do on the mountain and convinced everyone who doesnt know any better that its terrible and dangerous and we should all be afraid. nothing new here, thats all the news really is these days. anyone who knows anything about riding baked will be unconvinced and merely laugh it off. the people who really care about this are those who have shitty, meaningless opinions in regards to skiing.
