I don't know a whole lot about videography and photography and I want to get into it and start making quality edits that arent with a gopro. Is it possible to turn this camera into a camera that can film well and if not can you guys suggest a camera and a setup that would work well for a beginner. Thanks, +K to those who can help me

You can't do anything to make bridge cameras film better except for get stabilization. Even with that, it will suck.
If you want to do a lot of photography as well as videography, and are willing to dish out more money on lenses, go for a t3i. If you want to do exclusively videography, or you don't want to spend more, go for a quality camcorder. Get rid of that bridge though. They are terrible.

Bridge cameras will not produce good video. Get a dslr like a t3i and stop wasting ur time with that thing
