fucking car crash today. It sucked. I was turning left onto a pretty busy street and it wasn't a 90 turn more like a \__ and i was turning onto the horizontal road. Anyways, there were two cars turning in front of me and i checked and didn't seen anyone so i followed them. Well some person came flying across the intersection as i was turning left and one of my best friends was in the passenger side. I slammed my car left and floored it and he caught me on the back right door and back fender and i spun about 200 degrees. Ya my car is fucked, pretty much totalled i think. Not to mention i have no money right now, im 16 so my insurence sucks and i didn't have full collision, just a nofault plan thing. The guy that hit me didn't even swerve and i swear he was going 65-70 even though he 'said' he was going 55 and he also didn't have his headlights on and it was raining. So, i take all the fault for the crash, don't get insurence, and i pretty much total my 2000 Grand Am. On a good note at least, my friend was really lucky that i slammed left and floored it cause she didn't get hit and only bruised her hip slightly. That was the only injury and if i hadn't reacted quick she would probably be dead...So my day pretty much fucking sucked.

good call, and i dont know what a 2000 grand am is worth, but i doubt its totalled, that would be a lot of damage.

I dunno, it looked really bad to me though. It was worth about 6500 but i dunno. The damage was pretty sever, the back bumper was pretty much off, the back right door was completely smashed in though the window didn't break haha, the back fender was completely smashed, my wheel was fucked and bent all out of shape and it looked like i may have bent an axel.

^That was to saucerboy. And your right, i don't even really care about my car and all as long as my friend is safe, but knowing that its all good now makes the other issues seem more severe.

I don't deny there are bad things in the US right now, hell, 51% of the country to be exact. But god damnit, our country being fat is NOT a problem. I do't give a shit how fat people are. hell, fat kids are harder to kidnap, that means our country is safer.

this one person that is really close to us like was basically a sister.....she got in a crash and a kid in the back of the car wasnt wearing his seatbelt and the kid propelled forward and hit the girl and killed her.

ya we have a snow storm on the east coast and i hit the ditch lucky no damage, just the bumber popped out and i just put it back in. but if he hit you in the back end would that not mean it is his fault? i am not sure how it works in the states but i think it goes something like that in canada or at least ontario

I dunno, i thought something like that too, he more of hit me in the side though. The back right door and the back panel. I may go and try to appeal the ticket (failure to yeild) because i don't think it was all my fault, especially since the other guy was going very fast and didn't have his headlights on and it was raining. I told that to the cop who was pretty much a jerk and he basically said it doesn't matter because you failed to yield and he probably wasn't going fast, your perception was biased since it was right before an accident and you everything was going to quick. I really wanted to say it was bullshit to his face cause i know he was flying but whatever.

I've been in 2 car accidents and neither were my fault at all. But pretty much its your word against the other guys so it sucks especially when your 16. At least everyone is ok

Its your fault cause you didnt yeild, But its also kinda his. Could you see this guy? Did you look for him? If you 'looked' but couldnt see him cause his lights werent on, then its totally his fault. And also, from the sound of it, i dont think your cars totaled. If the frame's messed up it might be. But from what you said I dont think so. Get an estimate.

that's rough man,

this summer i was in a rollover, in a big 'ol burb, and it was super scary, there was a tire iron that came flying into the front seat, and almost pasted us, so i know how you feel,
