Replying to Best Camera for Action Shots?

Sup guys, so i'm creating this thread on an unfortunate occasion. I gave my GoPro Hero 3 to a liftie to hang on to for a run and when I came back, there was a replacement and all he had to give me was the mounting pole it was on. Sooo, the liftie jacked my GoPro...Which fricken sucks. I need your guys' help. I soon realized that I cannot live without a video/photography device to capture my greatest skiing accomplishments. What would be the best camera for ski edits, wakeboard edits, skateboarding, etc. I am considering upgrading significantly in my price range. What would the best camera be? Canon T3i?T2i? Panasonic GH2? THANKS BROS!!!
