I have found this is always a great question to ask people. technically Rossignol S1s but they got stolen about a week after i got em. Had my grandmother not got me a new pair that year I likely wouldn't have stuck with skiing. She got me some fischer villain pros and I would consider those my real first pair of skis (thanks mimi)

I scoured the web but I couldn't find a picture anywhere...

It was the the original Skogen Sprang Pros from Line. The ones with the large tall-ship going through a storm at sea. Same year as the Darksides I think? 2001?

Volkl Gotamas. Things barely have any tips, it's just a mellow rocker, so one time I tried skiing switch for the first time and ended up flipping over my head backwards because I caught the tips.

The TRUE OG! 1999 Salomon 1080 177! Still sitting in the back of the garage some where. Ill try and get some pics when I dig them out. I also have a set of 1974 Olin Mark IV that truly the first ever twin, granted they were meant for ski ballet but still damn cool. Pics to come.

The 2000 Line Skogen Sprang Pros.. I still have em! The rails look like a stereo EQ these days My rock skis, but I got a TON of use out of em when I lived in So Cal.
They are basically noodles
