Tips for shooting ski photos

I like the first 2, the last one was kinda boring.

I'm not to credible on skiing photos but I was always told to not keep your subject in the middle of the because it gets boring. So try different angles with your subject out of the center.

Yeah, I'm not much of an expert either but google the rule of thirds and try to use it. Try to include some context, "guy in the sky" photos are usually not so good, other then that, what I do is go through previous photos of the day and look for inspiration, To be the best you have to learn from the best, look at their angles, how they frame the shot, and how they light it and that should give you some starting points. Goo d luck, shooting ski photos is pretty fun.

Also sorry for dub post, but on those first two they would both be better shot from the front I think, whenever possible get the subjects face, not his butt in the shot

This really only stems from my knowledge of shooting skateboarding photos.

- Get low, you want to make this feature as big as you can make it. So even if whoever is just throwing a front one out, that shit looks fucking huge.

- The last 3 shots are of just some dude in the air, Normally throw on a longer zoom to see what this dude is hitting, again try to make it look as fucking big as possible.

- You really seem to like taking pictures of people from behind, facial expressions are always pretty cool to get specifically when people are throwing down.

dont make them centered, why shoot from the back all the time? thats not a great angle, try and get the face in it as well. pretty boring angle imo. spice things up
