All mountain skis for my dad?

So my dad asked me to help him decide on a new pair of skis (he has been on a pair of rossi bandits since 2006). I'm thinking, "right-on, he finally is ready to move on." but then I was like, "oh dear, I dont know shit about skis other than park skis." SO, does anyone have any recommendations on skis for him that maybe your parents or you ride? We live in PA so Im thinking like 80-90 underfoot, probably not twin. Thanks!

Probably some K2 A.M.P Rictors, they're a really fast all mountain ski and hold a great edge. My dad has a pair and I've tried them out. I even went switch with them on and didn't eat shit so that's a bonus.

The Rictor sucks. Sure it holds an edge, but it's super heavy and feels dead.
The important question is: What type of skiing does your Dad like to do?

he mostly skis on hardpack (and east coast ice). and the single request he had was "a ski that can go fast"

Volkl Kendos
If hes a pretty good skier and wants a ski that can handle some light snow up to 5" but still absolutely rips groomers, Kendo's are the ticket.
They are ski a lot more aggressive than Rossi Experience. The specifically feel more lively/powerful. Kendo's really can lay it over on edge and will give you greater return on power put into the ski than experiences will, thanks to the titanium.
Not saying the Rossi is a bad ski, but I typically sell that to 55+ dudes that want a more forgiving, less agressive ski

This seasons best all mnt skis under 90mm IMO are the Salomon Q90, Blizzard Bushwacker and the Rossi EXP 88. He really wont go wrong on any of them. All feature camber underfoot with some tip rocker. All have a mid flex and all can be carved really hard, yet they still remain overall fairly playful.
See if he can demo some and see what works for him.

This, my dad is an excellent skier (ex racer etc) and still rips harder than anyone I know at 46. He has a pair of volkl tigershark switches which is a very aggressive hard carving ski and a pair of line prophet 90s. He loved the prophets but they weren't aggressive enough for his skiing and he got kendos and hasn't looked back. He also lives in pa and he rips them as hard as his tigersharks on groomers and loves them inches occasional Pennsylvania pow (which there has been a good bit of this season).
Sparknotes: kendos are sick, and my dad who is a very aggressive skier loves his

Fast groomers? Have him demo both the Volkl Code and the RTM 80.
Problems solved.
