Kekambas. Also, pats under investigation for playing with deflated balls? Classic
scratchproteenThat was an insane game. Can't believe the seahawks won that. The Packers tried to run out the clock and paid for it.
scratchproteenI read that too, sorry but deflated balls don't help Blount go for a 140+ yards and 3 touchdowns. lol
.Hugo.Thats what i was thinking. You have aaron fuckin rodgers, go get a couple first downs and win the damn game. They moved the ball decently almost the entire game too
Kekambas.True, but cheating is cheating. Kind of like how pine tar doesn't help your team hit better.
Deflated ball probably helps you not fumble also.

.MASSHOLE.If you really think that had a big effect on the game, you're smoking something that Blount must have given ya.
TBH, Bill pushes the limits, but he doesn't break the rules. Before you say BUT SPYGATE!!!? Go read up on it.
General_RipperYou can't read up on it since goodell and the nfl didn't release all the details and swept it under the rug real quick.

Kekambas.I just don't understand why they always have to push the limits, they're talented enough to not have to.
.MASSHOLE.Maybe the millions of dollars on the line...?
Kekambas.I think Billicheat is set with money. It's not like the 4th wide receiver is making these decisions to try and get a contract.
I think it's more about winning than money, probably trying to see how many asterisks he can get in the books.
fujaromeWhat I don't get then is this... The refs handle the ball after every single play. Sometimes multiple refs will handle it. Yet somehow guys who make a living off knowing every single little detail and rule about the sport somehow didn't notice?

we've come a long way boys. On to Arizona
J.D.I mean, now that you've watched them in the playoffs, are you still that comfortable? They really had no business winning that game yesterday. They just don't look dominant and intimidating; last year, they did.
So yeah, Russell Wilson with a chance to go to 10-0 against Super Bowl winning quarterbacks in the big one. If he can win back to back championships against two of the best quarterbacks in the history of football in Manning and Brady, that would be something else. But you'd have to call the Patriots the significant favourites to take it, given how each team got here.
CaseyI think yesterdays game was just a really dramatic version of the way that they've won all year. They pretty much play lights out defense and wait around for the offense to get their shit together and score enough points to beat their opponent. Granted they gave up 16 points in the first half, but they could've easily given up 35 or more. Yes the Seahawks should not have won, but Russell Wilson threw 6 ints all season, and I would say like 3 or 4 of those were either not his fault or in garbage time. That game was by far the worst offensive showing that he or the team has probably ever had or will ever have.
.MASSHOLE.Jesus, someone is so salty. Ever consider that perhaps the conditions may have altered the psi? Or perhaps someone saw a ball being removed from play and assumed all balls had been tampered?
That is what my thought is. How could they not notice during the game yet somehow an anonymous source did?
The referenced post has been removed.
.MASSHOLE.LOL. Someone is so butthurt.
Kekambas.I can easily admit that the deflated balls had nothing to do with the patriots winning that game.
But can you admit that your team didn't cheat/hasn't been cheating for a while most likely? Do you really think brady is telling the truth when he says he had no idea.

I only read the first like quarter of that, but yeah...
Also, that video with Brunell and Bettis says it all.
Anathemarichard sherman's reaction. complete devastation.

J.D.Last year wasn't really luck. That was a legitimate championship team. This year's team was a good team that got somewhat unlucky early (they're better than their results showed in the first half) and then overcompensated by getting very lucky for the rest of the year, until there were 30 seconds left in the big game.
They'll be a good team again next year and should really finish no worse than 10-6.
kshaughnI don't know how you can predict that with so many question marks coming up. Seattle has been getting away with paying Wilson nothing and that is all about to change and he will be a large cap hit. There is at least a decent chance Lynch isn't back next year. Sherman is getting Tommy John surgery. That other corner currently has an arm made of jello after that pick.
Losing Lynch will ruin the team because it will rely too much on Wilson and he isn't good enough to be a start without a lethal running game and the organization is going to have to increase pay on too many players to keep all of the stars.

Lynch isn't going anywhere.

kshaughnUntil his name is on the dotted line, that doesn't mean he is staying. It's well documented that he hates Seattle and the team, so I wouldn't be surprised if he passed up that contract to go somewhere else.
