scratchproteenCards vs. Panthers.....Panthers win this game because unfortunately for the Cards they have to roll with Lindley, the Panthers defense has been coming back to what it was last year, and Cam Newton can get it done if he is healthy. Panthers win.
Bengals vs. Colts....This one will be interesting, and I believe it all comes down to AJ Green playing, if he does and Dalton doesn't choke I think the Bengals can win in Indy. Bengals win.
Steelers vs. Ravens....A good divisional match up, though I believe Antonio Brown is to much to handle and big Ben usually pulls off some play off magic at home. Could come down to the health of Bell. Either way I'll pick the Steelers.
Lions vs. Cowboys....The Cowboys were 4 - 4 at home this year, and the number 1 run stopping defense. Though their offense has been brutal down the stretch, barring a massive defensive let down by the Cowboys or crappy performance from Romo (which we all know can happen) the Cowboys should win this by two touchdowns. Cowboys.
Divisional Rounds.
Cowboys vs. Packers....The match up I want to see the most in all of the playoffs 8-0 at home vs. 8-0 on the road. The only reason the packers defense has looked any good down the stretch is they have played crap offenses (aside from the Lions, but megatron and stafford have not been the same). Rodgers has been pretty much perfect at home in the confines of Lambeau, and with a week of extra rest his calf should be good to go. Though I think their defense will get the best of them the vet Witten will come through and the Cowboys will take it in Lambeau. Cowboys.
Seahawks vs. Panthers....I don't normally like to think a game will be a walk over and its the playoffs so anything can happen but the Seahawks win this handedly. Seahawks.
Steelers vs. Broncos....I never want to write out Peyton, but his age does appear to be catching up with him, I like the way the Steelers have been playing and still think Bell (if healthy) and Brown is to much. Steelers win at Mile high.
Pats vs. Cincy....Pats defense has been playing strong as of late, and with the offensive clock magic the pats have they should win this one by a couple touchdowns. Pats.
NFC Championship.
Cowboys vs. Seahawks....The only team I think that could challenge the seahawks at the link is the cowboys and soley because their offensive line can give Romo the time for his receivers to get open against a nasty hawks secondary. Cowboys eek this one out with a field goal at the end of the game. Cowboys.
AFC Championship.
Pats vs. Steelers....The talk will be about Brady going to his 6th superbowl, but he will fall short to Big Ben and the steelers pulling some football magic circa 2009 superbowl vs the cards. Steelers win.
Superbowl.
Cowboys vs. Steelers....Both teams make it in appearing in their 9th superbowl for both teams. A battle between two great running backs, and two good deep threat receivers, high scoring. One of these two eeks it out with a field goal in the end. For the sake of my predictions Steelers win it. 30 - 24.
Superbowl Champ: Steelers.
Feel free to discuss/rip...just wanted to throw down all my predictions to see how close I could be. They will probably all end up wrong. My true rooting interest will be who ever plays the Packers. It will be fun to watch the playoffs this year. Wish I could watch my team instead of analyzing college players for draft picks, Vikings fan here.
.Hugo.Wild card:

Colts
steelers

Superbowl:
Packers
I just think rodgers gets hot and becomes unstoppable. And i fucking hate the packers
DeebieSkeebiesvery true. as much as I wanna see that Honolulu blue go all the way, green bay is one of the most dominant post-season teams of this era.
scratchproteenSuperbowl Champ: Steelers.
scratchproteenNot really, they actually blow it often.
Aside from winning the superbowl in 2010 thats been about it. They dominate the regular season.
Were knocked out by the 9ers two straight years (one of those games being at home), and the year after they won the super bowl they went 15 - 1 and lost at home to the Giants.
Rodgers is the man (hate saying it being a Vikings fan) as usual in the packer games it's all on the shoulders of the defense, because we all know Rodgers can get it done.

cornholioarizona should have tried harder to find a quarterback lol
good win for the panthers

DeebieSkeebiesFuck the NFL. Im done with this bullshit league
BakerpowBut are you really?
DeebieSkeebiesYeah, you can sit back and enjoy watching better teams get fucked over. Ima go do other shit.
cornholiopanthers staying in it so far
.Hugo.their offense has moved the ball pretty well. if they just prevent the big plays they have a chance to win this
cornholioif cam stops throwing ints we have a chance. he's had a few questionable throws but the running game has been working mostly. without the fumble that gave short field position for the first td they might even be winning right now
who knows what the 2nd half will bring
scratchproteenI dislike the Seahawks.
I hate the Packers.
These playoffs went totally opposite of the way I thought they would lol (see earlier post)
I hope Seattle wins by 60.
Go Pats.
AT-ATManning played with a torn right quad.
Seattle vs. Green Bay
New England vs. Colts
I'm just hoping for a good game with the NFC match-up, and I hope Luck personally knocks Brady out cold.
PS. that play where the receiver declared himself ineligible was bullshit. The ref should have announced it. Fucking Pats.
.MASSHOLE.He did announce it....Everyone in the stadium heard it. The Ravens just couldn't figure it out fast enough. Was it by the rules? Yes. There is no controversy with that call. The Lions lined up the same way against the Vikings but Stafford was sacked on the play.
AT-ATSome will call it smart and creative
AT-ATYou are correct. They did announce it. My apologies.
My issue than moves to why the Patriots constantly dwell in the gray zone of the rule book? Some will call it smart and creative and others will call it dirty and cheap. If they had huddled it would have been illegal, as before entering the huddle a player must first announce his ineligibility, but since there was no huddle this rule does not apply.
Since you are a Pats fan and I a Bills fan our views on this subject will be jaded either way.
.MASSHOLE.To be honest, I still think that is a stretch. Out of the 6 teams you have wins against, only one has a .500 record or better (DEN) and some of your wins have not been convincing. Sherman has been exposed multiple times, the O-Line has been poor of late, and Wilson has made some very stupid decisions.
You also have the unfortunate luck of being in one of the best divisions in the NFL.
Bakerpowim going to have to agree. even today it wasnt convincing till the second half
J.D.Yeah, a win over the Giants should be a given and the D didn't look particularly menacing (missing a few bodies). Wilson is good, Lynch has looked unbelievable the last two games, but they just don't look like the same dominating group that they did most of last year. That said, the losses weren't terribly convincing either - the Chargers game was an insane Rivers performance on an outlier weather day, the Rams game they probably should have won, and the Cowboys game was close (though no excuses on that one).
Obviously Seattle should be a playoff team, and able to win on any given day, so in that sense they're still contenders but I agree it would be a bit of a stretch to pick them to repeat right now.
Lynch though the past two weeks... jesus.
