The jets have potential. They have Decker and Harvin now, all they need is a decent quarterback who can get them the ball. When you have Smith who throws multiple interceptions in one game, you are doomed to fail.

Yeah I guess, if you throw 3 in the first quarter on your first 4 possessions that's never going to help. And Vick had his fair share of turnovers as well.

They're a) not as good and b) on a hangover. The weird thing is Wilson, he's very on and off. He'll go half a game looking like he can't accomplish anything and then become some sort of invincible deity for a couple of drives. Like against the Rams last week he looked basically unstoppable, but it was too late. Makes me wonder if they're just not invested in these games after the stakes they were playing for last year. Still a reasonably inexperienced group of key players.

To be honest, I still think that is a stretch. Out of the 6 teams you have wins against, only one has a .500 record or better (DEN) and some of your wins have not been convincing. Sherman has been exposed multiple times, the O-Line has been poor of late, and Wilson has made some very stupid decisions.

You also have the unfortunate luck of being in one of the best divisions in the NFL.

Other than Russell's two interceptions, what did you see that was bad? I saw a Giants team that showed up in the first half and was beat into the ground by the run game in the second half.

The defense started clicking more and more, Byron Maxwell had an incredible pass deflection and the backup CB's were making big plays as well.

As of right now, Seattle will not make the Super Bowl. I agree with that, but I really do believe that a change is happening, and once we have a healthy team (Wagz, Smith, Carpenter, Chancellor, etc.) I think it can happen. Should be an exciting last 7 weeks!

Yeah, a win over the Giants should be a given and the D didn't look particularly menacing (missing a few bodies). Wilson is good, Lynch has looked unbelievable the last two games, but they just don't look like the same dominating group that they did most of last year. That said, the losses weren't terribly convincing either - the Chargers game was an insane Rivers performance on an outlier weather day, the Rams game they probably should have won, and the Cowboys game was close (though no excuses on that one).

Obviously Seattle should be a playoff team, and able to win on any given day, so in that sense they're still contenders but I agree it would be a bit of a stretch to pick them to repeat right now.

Lynch though the past two weeks... jesus.

Yeah I mean the intentional grounding sure it made it a 3 point game but they got the ball right back. I didn't like the PI, and I didn't even see where the unsportsmanlike conduct on Hughes was. Pretty sure it was on 3rd down.

I think the unsportsmanlike conduct was because he made contact with an official. He bumped into him while taunting a Dolphin after sacking Tannehill
