yeah, that has to take an unreal toll on your body. i also think its been proven that most RB's that had over 400 carries a year consecutively drop off after a few years. definitely can see why, you're body just isn't as good as it used to be anymore.

Yeah he apparently fucked Golden Tate up before the super bowl, gave him a black eye, gave doug baldwin a shiner as well, and then almost got in a fight with Russ. Big reason as to why MN got rid of him in 2013

Perhaps the biggest issue, or at least the ultimate final straw, is something that Bob Condotta and John Boyle both reported Friday night: that Percy Harvin refused to go back into the game late against Dallas, when Seattle was trying to drive downfield to re-take the lead. Harvin missed 11 of the Seahawks final 17 snaps and this strange usage had confused pretty much everyone watching; it was something that Pete Carroll tiptoed around with vague comments about game flow and 'readiness'. I would have to think for Pete Carroll, Harvin's refusal to go into the game as a form of protest for touches or usage may have been the most egregious affront to the whole philosophy and culture of the Always Compete program he's created in Seattle.

Finding Giants...anyone looking forward to this? There was a sneak preview the other night at midnight but I missed it. I think the first episode is Tuesday.

on another note I just got back from Fred Meyer, and as I was walking out of the store the guy in front on me with his cart glanced to his right while walking and read the Percy harvin headline. He stopped and quickly reversed with a loud "what?!" and ran right into me.

I'm so fucking pumped on this. I didn't catch the episode, but I'm obsessed with Hard Knocks, the 24/7 series (hockey, but boxing too). It's just compelling shit, no?

My brother is a college OC and has 100% built his career on his ability to scout, identify talent, and recruit kids. It's just fascinating shit. He hates it of course but I always pick his brain about it. The NFL gets a lot of shit wrong and has bungled a lot of shit, but not when it comes to it's product really. That's especially true for shows like Hard Knocks, and hopefully this. The game lends itself to narrative really easily, but they also present it well. Fuck I'm going to try and stream this now.

he made exactly the attempt that he wanted to make, it was obviously a planned play, and they knew exactly how much of a fair-catch wave they could get away with without it being being 100% considered one. It was a brilliant trick play and I'm butthurt. I wish it was us who had done that.

So the Seahawks lose to the Rams...? I'm thinking post season play is not in their future. Now that the Browns are losing again will Johnny Football finally get some playing time? The Bengals are proving their mediocrity once again.

But seriously though what's going on with the Bengals? I have always thought Andy Dalton has been a decent quarterback and with their excellent start I had some hopes for this Bengals team, but that doesn't seem to look like it will work.

Well its a tough weekend for the hawks and fans alike. Second half hawks looked really good. The trick plays were incredible by St. Louis, and definitely the reason they won as well. The call at the end was such a load of shit, but that really is just how the game works. They put themselves in the position to get fucked, and they did.

I really, really feel like Seattle is catching their form, though. Time to go 1-0... go hawks

I must say the Broncos really played well today. Hillman is playing much better than Ball giving Denver a chance at a running game. I was pleased with their effort today.

Anyone know if that's because they're trying to make it more like soccer with no stoppages or it's just a coincidence?
