Ok here we go. Texans take Manziel at 1, Rams take Sammy Watkins because they need a receiver, Jags take Bridgewater, Bortles puts on a freak show at the combine so the Browns take him, Raiders get Clowney. We take Jordan Matthews or Landry in the second, David Fales, McCarron, Garaoppolo, or Boyd in the 3rd, Jeremyn Hill falls to the 4th because he interviews bad, and we get Colt Lyerla in the 7th. And we got 60 million to spend on free agents

Me too because the Dolphins are going to draft linemen 5 times and pick really bad people. Thus having a really boring and disappointing draft. So my alma mater having a #1 overall draft pick would make the draft a win for me.

This is true. But this is the Dolphins were taking about. They actually have to pick good linemen in the draft for that to happen. And the Dolphins just don't make good picks.

Yeah. If he was say Joe Thomas, then they might even put up with all of this drama but in reality he is an average, replaceable starter. They won't keep someone who is such a black mark.

St. Louis can't draft Clowney. There's no way. They have a receiving core without a number one and they just committed to Bradford. They have to take a tackle or Watkins because they can't run Stacy like they did at the end of the year for all 16 games next season.



And EwokJew, how not surprised were to find out Pouncey was involved?

Houston I can see because they bookend it but St Louis already has Long and Quinn. Drafting Clowney would be the biggest waste if they did because then you're sharing snaps and not getting guys in the full flow of the game

Yeah he made some pretty stellar catches but apparently he's a pretty thuggy dude. Hopefully Wayne can show him what to do and he becomes a worse route runner with better hands as compared to Wayne

Yeah i could see them taking robinson, but they really like powerful pass rushers like jake long and brady quinn. Fisher loves D, and he knows that this could be the shot to get the best looking pass rusher in the last 10 years for almost nothing for at least 4 years. Thats pretty hard to pass up, even for a solid starter like Jake Matthews or Robinson, or a talented number one receiver like watkins.

From a talent standpoint, Clowney is an almost once in a lifetime player. Like Junior Seau, Reggie White, or Chris Doleman, this kid EASILY has the talent to be a hall of famer. He might not prove to have the work ethic or leadership, but physically there is no question. Theres even a good chance the Texans take him, but since they already have J.J. what, another amazing defender on a HOF path, and a pretty solid team, I see them taking a QB, since they have a good window to win a Superbowl now. But they will be wishing as they pick they already had a QB so they could take Clowney.

What you call the off-season is what Bills fans refer to as the season of Hope. During this period of disillusionment we thoroughly convince ourselves of our superiority over all other sporting teams. The season of Hope starts upon the finish of the Superbowl and usually ends the first Sunday in September. However, it sometimes may last into the first Sunday of October, but no longer than that. When the season of Hope ends, Bill fans partake in the season of "There's always next year".  During this festive time we drink away our sorrows, forget what the sun looks like and hope the Sabres never play like this again.

yeah you guys are always annoyingly being hopeful, only to be let down faster than a field goal sails wide right.

I mean every year you guys have a promising QB, some good offensive talent, a decent to good defense, and yet you somehow never win more than 6 games. It would be worse to be a Bills fan that a browns fan, at least they expect terrible seasons.
