Sochi Halfpipe TV production

Is it just me, or did the TV production and filming fail in todays halfpipe competition? It looked like the people operating the main camera had problems keeping it steady and focused on the skiers, and the skiers sometimes jumped out of the picture. I wonder why they didn't just do it like they should(as they do it in X Games etc.). What's your opinion?

Well all the falling snow and whatever probably was fucking with the autofocus on their cameras, or some other element was probably affecting focus. But yeah, there were some where the camera guy was all over the place.

My opinion is that it is difficult to film skiers when you can barely see them through the sleet and freezing rain.

Of course, the conditions were not at all optimal at all, we can all agree about that. But they could have switched the camera angles from time to time, instead of the same angle all the time.
