hey i'm going to north lake in 4 days and i'd like it if someone could give me an actual report on snow, woods, park at The bowl, boreal, alpine and rose thanks.
P.S any reccomendations for pow skis to demo or park not brining mine
In the modern age with sophisticated forecasts available at your fingertips, how about you do a quick looksy? You'll see that Tahoe had a dump, and now they ain't. It'll be spring skiing.
so two people respond that dont live there and provide no help. god i love NS. be nice if people collaborated to help each other out. dude is just looking for a first hand, skiers opinion on the snow conditions at the mountains as most ski resort sites will withhold information like rain, etc.. while they will list total snowfall, they do not list snow loss.
i skied boreal friday saturday last week and it was pretty good lots of people. Fun flowy park there was a bit of pow but more dust on crust definitely if u go there bring park skis. I then skied alpine sunday monday and it was really fun. It wasn't to crowded. there park isn't to bad a couple fun rails and 3 tiny jumps but there was great skiing. not exactly pow skiing but better then we've had all year. Scott and Lakeview which just opened were pretty fun but a little rocky at times. Beaver and Estelle was open and was a fun hike to get some harder stuff to ski but a little sketchy at some places. I haven't skied at rose since winter break so idk but i've heard it's been decent. My thoughts are if you want a great park boreal and if you want good overall skiing and an ok park alpine. hope this helps!!!
