This guy knows what he's talking about.
I instructed there and it's probably one of my favorite places.
JP will take you up to the most steep basin has to offer, some killer trees and you can catch the tram to the start of the 2002 olympic womens downhill, kind of cool/terrifying to ski
Needles gondola holds the main groomers but its fun to go down the steep side, so go right when you go off the gondola, just make sure theres enough snow its all rock underneath
From needles and going left off the gondola keep heading that direction to Strawberry, theres another gondola over there, its awful on windy days and not always open due to not enough snow, but you can also hike the peaks to the right off the gondola, lone tree is up there and about a 15 minute hike up and besides that strawberry is just fun to play around in, has some bowls, sparse trees and a natural halfpipe (very natural including some trees and shrubs in it)
Have fun, let me know if you have any questions, i still have some friends that work out there and could maybe show you around
also where are you staying? theres not much to do ogden
