Don't bother.
The only 'parks' we have are indoors and they are relatively small. Boxes and rails aren't too bad but the jumps are 6-12ft at best.
when in the Uk for winter I ski indoors, dryslope and the UK mountains
Have a look at indoor slopes - Sno!zone, Snowfactor, Chillfactore
Dry slopes- Bearsden Dry slope, Bella houstan dry slope, Halifax
Mountains - Genshee, Nevis Range, Glencoe, The lecht , Cairngorm
closest real parks are all in Europe, It doesnt cost that much have a look at the likes of hintertux, Les du alps.
A lot of the Universities have ski and snowboard clubs that organise trips as well as training sessions at the dry slopes and indoor slopes. the indoor slopes have freestyle features out every thursday and friday night.
Have a look at BUSC thats the governing body for the University competition circuits in the UK. It gets pretty wild.
