Donjoy Reaction Web Knee Brace

Does anyone have one of these and if so does it work well? I missed all of last winter because of a torn acl and this winter all I've been wearing for a brace is an athletic knee sleeve you'd find at a Dicks Sporting goods store. After about 3 advil and 3-4 hours of skiing later my knee gets pretty sore and I think it's mostly from the constant impact of landing off of rails and jumps. On the website it says the reaction web knee brace pulls pain away from the knee, and it seems like it is backed by the u.s. ski teams. So does anyone have this brace and should I drop the money on it? Or does anyone know of a good alternative? Thanks
