I went to the adult camp back in 2008 and enjoyed it - but I'd probably do things differently if I ever went again (FWIW I stayed with family nearby and didn't stay in the adult house). Here are some thoughts.
If you are making decent money, want adult accommodations (not-bunkbeds in shared rooms) and want to spend your non-skiing time in an area built around catering to adults (bars, restaurants, golfing, climbing, fly-fishing, etc, etc, etc), then I'd head for a camp at Whistler. Probably not an option in April, but there you go.
Windell's is great for what it is - but since it's a camp for teenagers with some adult lodgings grafted onto the side - the overall vibe is going to reflect that. It was a fun group, and they do get all ages showing up in the camp, but the reality is that there just aren't a whole lot of people over 30 who are still into park skiing enough to dedicate a week of their life to attending a dedicated park-camp, so it's going to be mostly people in their early to mid 20's that you are hanging out with.
They're there to have a good time, and that's going to involve a fair amount of partying - college style - even on the off-site trips into Portland and elsewhere. Nothing wrong with that - hell, it's one of the best parts about being that age - but if that's not your thing, or you don't need a solid week of it, then I'd consider other options.
You might be able to work out a deal where you still get the coaching/park-pass but stay off-site (that's what I did) if you want the experience of hitting the park with other people your own age who are fired up and pushing themselves (increasingly hard to come by as you get older) but want to skip the bunk-bed experience. If you just want to hit the park - you can probably buy a pass just for that purpose. Having said that - if you just want to hit the park for a week, the public park is great, so you could just bypass the "camp" experience altogether.
