Scratch comparable to AR5?

I was told the other day that the Scratch skis were very comparable to the Armada AR5's. I have scratch FS's, but idk about the AR5's. Any imput?

haha, they are so different is absurd. Please go back to the person who told you that and them they are an idiot. I have skied both for about a month. FS are super soft, good for buttering, not great pop and lose structure integrity quickly (in my opinion). ar5s are a great all around ski. Firm, good on hard pack. ONly downside to ar5s are construction of last years, but it appears they are fixing that

Not that you can tell a whole lot about skis by flexing them in the shop, but when i flexed both a did notice a difference. In fact the guy that told me worked at the shop. Looked like a real stiff though, probabyl never rode a twin in his life.

only thing is the same is that they both have sidewall construction, and they have rounded tips.
