Can't tell if you're serious or not..
They were clear during slope in saying that judges wanted to see good execution, not just technicality like we're used to seeing with competitions like XGames, Dew Tour, etc. I think most of us were finally glad to hear this, and I think it was confirmed when we saw some high-scoring runs that didn't necessarily include the most "futuristic" looking tricks. Andreas' run put him pretty close to podium even though he didn't go inverted on the last jump.
Anyway, I don't think it's an assumption by any stretch of the imagination to say that had Wallisch competed and put down one of his classic-style runs, it would have been guaranteed gold.
Nobody else has the consistently flawless, effortless-looking style that Wallisch does. If that is truly one of the things judges were seeking as they claim, there would be no other place for Tom except the top of the Sochi podium.
