downloading programs

which would be a good music downloading program to use? i want something that works good and doesnt make you download a bunch of shitty versions of the song before you can get a good one. i know this has probably been talked about before, im just to lazy to search. any suggestions are welcomed. thank you

there is only one: Limewire.

Download Limewire from download.com, then use it to search for Limewire Pro (the non-freeware version). Download this for free (ironic!!) and you have on your PC a completely spyware-free, super fast p2p program. I download songs in about 2mins on a 512 broadband connection

limewire's decent but if you're on an apple use 'acquisition'. it connects to multiple gnutella networks instead of just one like limewire, bearshare, etc....

soulseek worked for me for prolly about 2 months and then decided to not search anymore so im back with limewire, then searched the pro.
