So these skis are dirt cheap. I'm considering them, if only for dedicated urban and shitty day skis. How are they, and does the 182 size measure true, short or long?
Youre in luck I skied the world cups two days ago and have the same years comte. The comtes are dope, soft noses, stiffer poppier tails. The flex is nice in the tails when they break in. The World Cups are stiffer. The flex is at the last like 9 inches of the tip and tails. Harder to butter but then again they were brand new and my comtes are a season and a half old. I liked the way the World Cups rode and held an edge despite the identical sidecut. I think the stiffness was what made the difference, but I wouldnt part with my comtes if I had to. Grab either one with the coreupt bindings off levelninesports.com. $310 shipped, mounted, with bindings is a steal and the only thing ull have to complain about is a few topsheet chips. Worth every penny.
