So I learned how to slide a box straight and I'm stoked to progress forward... How do I go about sliding 90 degrees on and off? Massive amounts of +K will be given out for helpful answers, thanks in advance!
Alright so theres nothing to it. Just find a nice wide low flat box and hop on to it while turning. Its ok if you dont get a full 90 because you will get there. When you turn after you pop make sure that you are landing in a way that you have even weight on both skis and you are standing straingt up. If you turn and then go on your edges like a stop then you will eat shit. Once you start to spin more you will probably come out switch anyways
Popping 90 degrees onto a box and sliding isn't hard at all, the hardest part for most people is mentally just doing it. Focus on keeping your boots over the center of the box, your skis flat (not on an edge leaning too far back or forward) and looking at the end of the box. Fully commit to the 90 degrees, and let the skis and box do all the work for you. Have fun and stomp it!
If u figured it out this won't help but pretty much go straight on then turn your skis a little and keep doing that until you get comfortable doing that then pop on and land at 90° and you got it
