Replying to WHEN to pop? When to start spin?
So basically I can spin 3s and 5s but recently I've been experimenting and tweaking different things. Like, popping later/earlier, leaning forward/back, seeing how they affect the jump and spin.
I'm kinda doing it because I have no crew to build off eachother, no one to tell me how I'm doing or how it looks.
Upon researching the countless "how to pop" threads, which are kindof stupid because it's basically jumping with forward pressure, I got that figured out.
But when do you initiate you're pop? Is it different when you straight air than when you spin? I had always done it right when I get to the lip but I've found I spin faster when I start to twist and pop a few feet earlier.
I don't know. Skiing is starting to make me sad and frustrated, which I can't even fathom.
