Okay... Comparing Joss to Nick
First rail: Joss- sw 270 pret 270, geopper- sw 270 pret 4... Tie because geopper came off the rail a tad early (if i recall), otherwise Nick has the advantage.
Next feature: Joss- sw to fs 450 out to 270 pretzel 270, Geopper- cork 7 nose tap to super fed. This is tough, but I give it to Joss because doing a pretzel is crazy difficult, and the nose tap didn't look that good (penciled out) IMO. But this can go either way.
Next feature: Joss- 180 to sw rodeo 630 out, Geopper- sw 270 to rodeo 630 out. Give this to Joss because of creativity points, lots of others were doing Geopper's trick it didn't stand out unlike Joss's.
Jump 1: Joss- some crazy left side double grab dub 12 vs nick's unnatural dub 12 blunt. Both stomped, but advantage Joss because he is the only one doing that grab, many skiers can do a unnatural dub 12 blunt nowadays.
Jump 2: Joss- left dub 10 blunt, stomped. Geopper, some super crazy sw dub 9 with a double genie grab. Geopper wins this hands down, that shit was fucked up.
Jump 3: Joss sw right side tripple 12 tweaked safety grab, vs Geopper front triple 1440 mute to dub japan. I give this to Joss by a land slide and here is why.... First time this trick has ever been done, he was also the only person doing this trick unlike Geopper where u had Brown, and that other dude throwing the same trick minus the double grab. Also Joss tripple was actually cork/wobble, vs a much more flippy rotation from Geopper, it def looked a lot better IMO because of it.
I say jumps 2 and cancel out for both athletes, leaving the rest of the run where I believe Joss is ahead by a slim margin. I would put Geopper at a 94 Joss at a 95. Regardless two of the craziest slope runs ever done.
Agree to disagree.
