I'ts probably cause he didn't use poles...I personally think super fed is harder then a 2 on pretz 2 anyway. I get the 2 on pretz 2 way more consistent then super feds.

Well deserved outcome for the USA. Bit gutted to see Jossi throw both his runs away after minor errors on the rails but that's comp skiing for you.

Commence much discussion of judging. I felt like Harlaut got robbed, somewhat (despite looking like a dork at times), and that Hatveit was over-scored.

Murica! Joss deserved every bit of that. That second run triple was the most floaty and stomped. And what the hell happened with Henrik? He's capable of a way better run. He did get underscored a bit, but still not top 3.

Most important thing so far:
Skiing slopestyle was was way better as a show than snowboarding slope. It was really sick, and all in all, I think that I'm pretty happy with how it all turned out. Skiing should celebrate this, we should!

On the other hand though, Tom never got a chance to show up and slay. Still feel like he would have been capable to, but the qualifying format, didn't work out for him in the end. McCrae or Schlopy could have fucked stuff up just as well to. I think he top 3 deserved top 3, just not in that order...

That was intense finals , almost like X-Games big air. Everything was perfect except maybe the judging, but there will always be an issue with judging. But the filming, the course and the level of riding was of the hooks !

They pulled this off so well, everything just came together. Good weather, tons of line options, well built course.

At the same time I'm glad its over, I can't wait for the film segments coming out in the next couple seasons.

Also, this to the max. The snowboard slope finals were turtle-like in comparison to the skiing finals. Undoubtedly a great representation of our sport on the world stage.

Felt like the judging was just plain weird. Russ Henshaw to score only 80 for his super sick run. Gotta Love Andreas at the end when waiting for his score. "They're actually considering it!" Stoked for Gus to get on the podium.

Really tough for Goepper, he clearly put down the most technical slopestyle run of all time.
