What is with a majority of olympians wearing the same green Goggles?

Has anyone else noticed a majority of Olympians wearing the same green Goggles? Are they wearing them to commemorate or protest something? It's probably nothing but every time I see them it drives me nuts.

Thats what I thought but I feel like some of the green goggles weren't Oakley models... If I'm wrong that explains it.

You aren't allowed to have sponser logos bigger than a certain size on clothing, skis, helmets, etc in order to "maintain the spirit of the games". So they make their products stand out as much as possible - goku
Any athlete that is "sponsored" or "supported" by Oakley has neon green eyewear. This includes skiers, snowboards, xc skiers, etc...
Those that aren't "sponsored" have put tape over the logos of their goggles
I wouldn't really say it's for the "spirit of the games" though. It's more for companies like McDonalds and Coca Cola that have spent multi-millons on advertising. This way no other company gets prominant advertising - pipe_munky

Ive seen a couple guys with Nike goggles and no tape over them? Only guy i saw with tape over the logo had shred goggles on. And i have definitely seen a lot of POC logos on goggles as well.

Nike made special goggles for the Olympics. If you look, the swoosh is very small. Much smaller than normal

yeah those and other models... but at first I thought they weren't all Oakley but I re watched some videos and every green pair is Oakley so it's just an advertising thing I guess

They already sell neon green oakleys don't they? Wouldn't really be a limited run.
They may not have to cover nike signs on goggles because nike is an official sponsor of the Olympics.
