Perfect Settings to Film For

I have a canon rebel T3. The filming is supposed to be 1080p but I can't get the settings correct. Anyone have any hints as to what I should change them to.

T3 or T3i? Im pretty sure the T3 can only shoot 720, but i may be wrong

If you are talking about exposure than every dslr is pretty much the same kinda deal. And it varys on the lighting, lens and what kinda shot you are looking for. There is no "right exposure" buuut if you are talking settings then I have no idea for the t3

There's no magical setting.
Just make sure the shutter speed is at least double the fps and adjust the iso for each shot.
Custom white balance helps
