Worst Commentator Ever

I'm watching the womens slopestyle from New Zealand and the broadcaster here doesn't have their own commentator so they are using the Olympic Broadcasting Service one. I thought the snowboarding guy was bad, but this is horrendous. The only words he knows are "variety", "revolutions" and everything switch he calls "reverse form". Hes so ignorant he calls the rails "tubes" and then they do "very nice twists" out of them. Mix all this with a seemingly 'put-on' English accent and it's hard to watch. This is going to ruin the whole olympics for me. I miss Van Valin and Douglas. Even Uncle E.

Fuck he just said Kim Lamarre landed in "reverse fashion"!

omg hilarious - I was just about to put up this same thread. The very next time this f**k says "reverse somersault" I'm going to break my TV. What a kook. Like the couldn't pull some guy out of the x-games who knows what a 'fakie' is. NBC is a f**king joke.

No this is the Olympic Broadcasting Service they would broadcast to most places as a lot of countries wouldnt have their own commentators

Though the guy they have for ski racing is perfect. He has the passion in his voice which makes it interesting to watch

this. to everyone complaining about the clueless dude announcing the nbc sports livestream two nights ago, did that really ruin your experience that extensively that you had to go onto ns and make multiple posts about it?

given that this three has 2 pages, apparently.

but yeah it was distracting and left a bad taste in my mouth. nothing personal against the guy they whipped up there, but it was odd that an event that prides itself on being the highest caliber would fail to find someone even mediocre to announce it.

According to the CBC commentator switch bio 7 is now switch cork 7, rodeo 5 is now flat 5 and blind switch-ups are now flatspins. What has this world come to????

commentators on mens slope were terrrrrrible. The ENTIRE time he was calling anything out of a rail a 250 out. Didn't matter if it was a 450 or 270. And threw in a couple 430's for good measure.
