We currently have 4 full time skiers and 3 part times skiers in our program. I am currently the head ski coach and answer any questions that you might have. Send me an email at Jeff@windellsacademy.com. I can connect you with some of our current students so that you can hear what they have to say.
When I was a racer I got into GMVS Ski Academy on scholarship. I spent one winter there, but A lot of those kids who spent all 4 years at the Ski Academy, would go to ivy leave and other top schools.
If your parents can throw that type of cash around and you are content with getting accepted into average colleges, then go for it. The education won't be great, but it will no doubt be a good time; the facilities there are tiiightt. Don't expect to have a lot of freedom, the campus is closed (most days you probably leave it though for some reason or another; probably to ski or do something in Portland). Also most likely there will be a 10:1 ratio male to female.
