I always put songs onto my ipod on a windows computer and have had no problems, but last night I plugged it into a mac. As soon as i plugged it in, the mac froze as did my ipod. I immediately unplugged it. I turned my ipod back on and all of my music was gone. My ipod has always been turned on manual sync so I have no idea how this happened. All 5000 songs...gone. Weird thing is, my ipod says its half full with "other" memory. So my question is, is my music still there and it just somehow got moved to the "other" file? Any help would be appreciated!
Did you read the post? How could it sync if my IPOD is on manually manage music? And obviously macs dont work if I plugged it in, the damn thing froze and now all of my music is gone.
