Women's Slope Discussion

Probably about as pumped as I've ever been for a women's slope event.

Will the jumps be too big? Will Lisa toss a dub? What will go down, who's gonna win?

On tonight/early tomorrow morning. Finals 1 am - 2 am CBC, qualis earlier then that.

this course is kind of bullshit. there is no way she should have undershot those jumps that much. she landed fine on the jumps before and went straight.

Commentators here in Australia are calling tricks out pretty well. Calling out corks, mistys, flatspins and the grabs pretty well. Bummed to see Anna Segal miss out on the podium, kind of thought she deserved it.

fuck that was hard to watch. Hope Yuki is ok! that was one of the gnarliest crashes i have ever seen. i also think her first run should have scored higher.

why didnt they slip the course every 2 or 3 riders. obviously it was fucking with the riders not having enough speed.

Lamarre should have taken second. that run was so much smoother. Segal should have been in third and logan in fourth. her run was ugly. also that zero spin was fucking awesome. a run with a zero spin got an olympic medal. that's fucking awesome!

Yeah she had a smooth run and got her landings down but a zero spin on the last jump getting her 3rd? for sure it's a hard trick on a jump that size especially with a landing that slushy but still, didn't expect it to score where it did
