Most people don't get close enough when using a fisheye (also true with a UWA). When you are to far away and not at the right angle, it will make things look smaller, like it was taken from far away, and generally shitty. if you have to ask, you should be closer to the rider. One of the best tips I heard about wide angles (which applies here too), is that they aren't for fitting everything in, they are for getting closer to the action.
