Dale begg smith

So for you who don't know who dale begg smith is he's an Australian mogul skiier and he owns an internet service or something and earns about 20 million dollars a year or something crazy like that and he still competes in moguls so i'm just wondering why would you compete in moguls when he could easily go out cat/heli skiing pretty much every day of winter and ski awesome powder.

He's got the opportunity to be the best in the world at something. Money can't buy that feeling(certainly can buy good training). Competing at the top level has higher highs and lower lows than just freeskiing will ever have.

He is one of the most hated skiers on the planet. Gets on the canadian team, hates his coaches....then fucks off down south. Every time the Quebec bump pros kick his ass it just makes me smile.

Actually he's a Canadian mogul skier.

He was born in Vancouver and skied with the Canadian mogul team. At a young age he made millions in internet advertising (ie Pop-ups). Because of his business he was unable to keep up with the Canadian training schedule and went out looking for a country that would let him compete under their banner. Australia took him in and gave citizenship to both Dale and his brother. Dale won the gold in Torino and silver in Vancouver

From what I know, he does not even live in Australia.

He disappeared from competition after the Vancouver Olympics. I was amazed to see him on the start list for qualifications today.

Why is he competing? Take a look at his face during the medal presentations in Vancouver...he was pissed off. He's only back for Sochi to try and beat Bilodeau. Unfortunately he ate shit under-rotating a backflip on the bottom jump.
