Should I go to Windells with a friend?

Those of you NSers who have been to a summer camp like Windells, did you have a friend go with you or were you alone? I really wanna go but havent been able to get any of my usual ski friends to go with me and don't wanna have a shitty time with people I don't like skiing with. So what are your thoughts on going to a camp with a friend or alone.

If you have a chill friend that won't get annoying..take them with! But if there's any question that they will not be fun to be around then don't take them. Going alone would be better than going with some kid that you're not gonna want to ski with.

You won't make any friends acting like that. So you should probably just stay home

Yeah I definitely worded it in a douchie way. What I mean is I feel like it would be more fun to be with one person who I enjoy to ski with and others who I may or may not enjoy to ski with, than to just be skiing with people who I may or may not enjoy being with.

Well that's how you make friends..by meeting people you've never met before...unless you're a total douchebag it's not gonna be hard finding a friend to ski with...because you're all there for the same thing...
But you seem like a douche so you should just stay home.

I'd say yes. My brother was with me when I went, made it a little easier to have someone who's down to hang/do things with you. Although, the camaraderie between you and other campers will be good. When I went to Windells a while back there were about 8 to 12 skiers in the session and we all bunked in the same house. I bet thats different now.
Either way you'll have a blast

I went alone and I loved it. I think if I went with a friend I wouldn't have talked to and made friends with nearly as many people as I did, and it was just a cool experience going somewhere alone with people you don't know.

You just need to not worry about it. Whatever camp you go to, and whoever you go with, you're gonna meet so fucking many new, awesome people and have so much fun, that you're gonna be sad as fuck when you leave. It will change your life.
I had a camper who had a parent die a couple months before. Didn't say a word the first night. The last night, he and the others were trying to stage a breakout to "hang out" with some girls from downstairs. I shit you not.
I could think of a bunch of examples like this of varying degrees, including my own experience. But the point is, I know what the fuck I'm talking about, and I'm saying that your worry is completely unfounded.

You're skiing. You'll have fun either way, with a friend or without.
All times are Eastern (-5)
