I am looking for a new park ski, because mine are pretty small on me right now. I have heard great things about the traveling circus ski. I mostly do park, with occasional black diamond runs/messing around on the whole mountain. I would like something that is lightweight, symmetrical, and playful/buttery. Would the traveling circus skis be a good ski for me? Or do you guys have any other suggestions? thanks!
I've heard some bad things about those. Take a look at the ON3P Filthy Riches. I've heard nothing but good things about them. They're fully symmetrical and rockered... ON3P's quality is supposed to be really good.
I have looked into the filthy riches, and lots of people say they don't do a good job when going on other parts of the mountain. I bet they absolutely shred in the park, but I feel like having a wide ski like the traveling circuses would be much more controlled, even when going on other parts of the mountain. Thanks for the advice though!
If you want something that skis al around the mountain as well as park, then I don't know what you are doing looking at the TC's. Crappy extruded base, fully symmetrical, super soft flex, these thing are not meant to leave the park.
Im not saying I want a all mountain ski, I want something that is really buttery. Im just saying I would like to be able to leave the park and mess around; I'm not going for an amazing downhill ski.
Still, I would highly advise checking out some other options. If you are determined to get a symmetrical ski, I would recommend the Faction Silas, Icelantic DaNollie, or the FR if you want rocker. But there are great park skis that are more fun and buttery all over the mountain due to being symmetrical as well.
