Hopefully she will heal quickly and come back strong. Has the potential for a huge future.

I was super bummed to hear this. I'm from Whitefish and everyone here is so stoked for her making it that far. We're all proud. Just sucks we won't get to see her on the podium at the end. She's so young though, by the next Olympics she'll only be 19. She's got a bright future ahead of her.

Really bummed to hear this news this morning. I was most looking forward to her runs in the Olympics. Surely she was a medal contender. What a shame for her, and team USA. Darling, progressive youngster.

That's really disappointing. She has had such a great season so far.

Also, in the article it said that only one other freeskier had done a switch 1080 before. I thought that was kind of funny.
